- Check Order Status - Special Note
The Order Status information for MiamiShades.com orders
does not necessarily represent the final order if any changes
were made due to product availability, credit card authorization,
shipping charges, tax and coupons. This information should
be used only for your own reference; it cannot be used for
tax or billing purposes.
- What if I forget my Order Number?
Your order number is included in your Order Confirmation
email with an automatic link to your Order Status on MiamiShades.com.
When you order by phone an associate will give you your
order number. It is a good idea to save your Order Confirmation
email or write down the number for future reference.
If you forget or misplace your order number you can get
it by contacting Customer Care via email at support@MiamiShades.com
or by calling 1-888-899-9786.

- What does it mean when my order says: Processing, Shipped,
tem(s) Not Available, Backordered, Partially Shipped, Pending
and Cancelled ?
Processing means we have received your order and are in
the process of filling it.
Shipped means we have filled this portion of your order.
It is on the delivery truck and will be delivered soon.
Partial Shipped means that we have filled and shipped part
of your order, based upon our availability. We apologize
for any inconvenience that this may have caused you.
In Shipping means that our shipping department is compiling
the contents of your order and preparing your order for
shipment.
Item(s) Not Available means this portion of your order was
not filled. A Customer Care Representative from MiamiShades.com
will be contacting you with more details.
Cancelled means the order was cancelled either by the customer
or by
MiamiShades.com. A customer care representative from MiamiShades.com
will be contacting you with more details.
Pending means that you have made an order but there may
be some impediments involving order verification and processing.
Back- Ordered means that some of the items that you have
ordered are not currently ready for shipment. Please contact
a customer care representative from MiamiShades.com at 1-888-899-9786
for further details.

- Why is sales tax added to my order?
MiamiShades.com charges sales tax on orders, shipped in
Florida, as we hold nexus in the state of Florida.
- What methods of payment does MiamiShades.com accept?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
We ensure your Credit Card information is 100% safe and
secure. Using several methods of 128mb encryption on our
Verisign secure site. We also accept money orders and cashiers
checks.
- Can I send an order to someone as a gift, and make
sure that the price doesn't show up on the packing slip?
Yes you can. We also offer gift wrapping for your convenience.

- What is your delivery policy?
MiamiShades.com will attempt to deliver your package anywhere
through UPS. We cannot determine exact delivery time, but
we can tell you if it has been shipped, and whether or not
there are any problems with your order that have been reported
to us. For more specific delivery details, please refer
to your order.

- Can I just pay the driver for my order?
At this time we do not accept C.O.D. orders.
- I won't be available tomorrow to accept my delivery.
What do I do?
If you have already placed an order with us, please call
UPS at 1-888-899-9786 right away. UPS may be able to re-schedule
your order for a different delivery day that is more convenient
for you. If the delivery cannot be made, your order will
be returned to the local delivery center and another attempt
will be made the next business day.

- Who do I contact if I am having problems with your
web site?
Please let us know what kinds of problems you are having.
Call us or send us an an email. We will attempt to answer
your questions, and/or forward on anything we can't resolve
to the Webmaster.
- If the web site crashes, what happens to my order?
If the web site crashes while you are still placing items
in your basket, those items should still be in your basket
when you return to the site.
If the web site crashes when you are authorizing an order,
you should return to the site and submit it again. Our Internet
associates check for duplicate orders. If we have questions
about whether or not your order is duplicated we will contact
you by phone or email.

- I'm a nontaxable customer. How do I use my tax-exempt
number?
If you are an existing nontaxable customer and have a Customer
Number that is nontaxable, you must make sure to notify
the sales representative upon verbal verification of your
order. When your order is processed, your customer number
will be used and you will not be charged tax. If you are
a NEW nontaxable customer, please fax your tax certificate
to MiamiShades.com. Include your telephone number and order
number if applicable. Your order will be taxed and a refund
generated as soon as we have clearance from our Tax Department.

- We use the latest technology to keep our shopping site
safe for its users.
Our site was developed and is constantly upgraded to meet
the most stringent demands by our customers and the credit
card companies.
The MiamiShades.com site supports secure on-line shopping
through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This means
that all information that you input during your shopping
is encrypted. You will know that you are in a safe and encrypted
area when you see the Key (in Netscape Navigator)
or the Closed Padlock (in Internet Explorer)
or any other security signs that other browsers might use.
You can also double check that you are in a secure area
at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure
server the site address will change from http to https.
If your browser does not permit communication through a
secure server, you can always follow the procedure in ordering
by fax. MiamiShades.com strongly recommends online ordering
for fast and secure service.
Credit card use :
- We insist that shopping on a secure site is safer than
giving out your credit card number by fax or telephone,
cellular and cordless phones in particular.
- Customers must register before making an order. This is
to protect the credit card holder from fraud. The cardholders
will be contacted if there is any doubt that they have not
placed the order.
- To help protect against the use of stolen credit cards,
we use an address verification system (AVS), which means
that large orders can only be sent to the billing address
of the credit card.
